Other Details to Note
There will be noone in the in law apartment when you are there. Its actually detached from the home and was used as servant quarters back when the home was first built by General West Moreland. It can be rented for an additional cost of $99 per night and a $75 cleaning fee if you would like more space in addition to the main house. It has a queen bed, living/kitchen area with washer and dryer combo, plus large bath ensuite.

Around mid November to the beginning of March it is highly advisable to have 4 wheel drive, AWD, or chains in case of snow. The Town of Beech Mountain clears the main roads quickly but it's a good idea to be prepared for snow driving in case.
